Finally, the new season is here, Galactus is defeated.
During my internship time at Epic Games, I had a chance to work on Fortnite New Season: Zero Point, my contributions are in Coliseum, Huntershaven POI, and some other stuff.
My works included highpoly, lowpoly modeling, baking, texturing, collision, and LODs for planters, wall fountains, and Display Cases. I also worked closely with my art lead Nate Bowden and Andy Carroll for a lot of blockouts for outsourcing and re-concept. The idea was to secure the overall look and scale.
Vegetation credit goes to Martin Holmberg.
For Coliseum and Huntershaven POI: Art director: Patrick Murphy. Lead Artist: Andy Carroll, Environment Outsource lead: Nate Bowden. Environment Art Lead: Rick Kohler. Senior Environment Artist: Josh Marlow, Martin Holmberg, Josh Rife, Troy Perry, Chris Sharp. Environment Artist: Tobias Koepp, Stephanie Ducasse, Candice Fonville. Concept artist: Gervasio Canda. They are all extremely amazing artists, I learned so much from them.
Special thanks to my mentor, Josh Rife, Scott Homer, and my lead Nate Bowen, Andy Caroll, they taught me so much, and gave me a lot of feedback! Of course big thanks to everyone else on the team. I am very grateful I could work along with this incredible team in this incredible season. Thank you, guys.
Overall credit to the whole Fortnite environment team.
